PC Creation

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

The game will be based on Player's Handbook 1 & 2 plus the 'Essentials' books Heroes of the Fallen Lands and Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms.  Players should create a PC with either of the Essentials 'Heroes of' books, or alternatively with the Players' Handbook I or II.  A few other materials are allowed.

Martial Power 2

Other Play Elements Permitted
From Player's Handbook 3: The Skill Powers from PHB3.
& I will consider allowing the following from PHB3 on an experimental basis:
Psion - Altanian Female Human Only - & associated magic items
Rune Priest - typically Skandik or Dwarf - & associated magic items

From Eberron Player's Guide: Other Races available –  Warforged (newly awakened; built by the ancient Philosophers, or the Orichalan Dragon Lords)

From Adventurer's Vault: Other Equipment available –  Weapons from Adventurer's Vault pages 8-10, except not the Double Weapons on page 9.  Mounts & Vehicles from Adventurer's Vault pages 11-20.  Alchemist's Fire (“Viridian Fire”) from Adventurer's Vault page 24.  Other stuff (eg Alchemical items) may be available in certain areas.

Powers from other sources such as the supplementary 'Power' books and Dragon magazine are not allowed unless specifically introduced by the DM.

If you want a generic Background, a Ritual, a Paragon Path or an Epic Destiny from another source which fits your character concept, you can consult with the DM and show me a copy, I'll probably say yes if it seems at all reasonable and appropriate.  From Martial Power 2, The Legendary Sovereign Epic Destiny  is allowed: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/excerpts/MP2_epic.pdf
